Replacement Filters for Vaillant

Vaillant recoVAIR /4: compare both filter widths

The VAR 260/4 and VAR 360/4 set lists 492 × 161 × 47 mm and 492 × 165 × 47 mm elements. The width difference should be checked rather than rounded away.

Understanding F7 and G4

F7 is a former fine-filter class and G4 a coarse-filter class. Use the ISO classification declared for each replacement. Read the differences between F7 and G4 filters. Before changing class, check that the unit supports the configuration and resistance to airflow.

Does the /4 suffix matter?

The replacement is listed for VAR 260/4 and VAR 360/4. Do not extend that compatibility to other recoVAIR generations based on a similar series name.

How often should Vaillant filters be replaced?

ZenAero's guide uses 4–6 months as an orientation for many residential installations, not a universal interval for this set. Follow the manual and assess each element and the air conditions; a damaged or heavily loaded filter may need earlier replacement. See replacement intervals and how to change ventilation filters.

These are ZenAero compatible replacements, not original Vaillant filters. Check the supported models, pack contents and availability on each product page. For another brand, browse the ventilation filter catalogue.
